Another Inmate Died In Lowndes County Jail -- But Who Cares?
Posted by George Rhynes on 3/26/2006 15:13:54

Dear Editors, Concerned Citizens and Beyond
(Updated, After Bobby Stanford Death yesterday)

SPECIAL NOTE: On 24 March 2006, Kelli Hernandez reported in the Valdosta Daily Times that jailed inmate Bobby Stanford died on 23 March 2006 at 1:15 a.m. in or surrounding the Lowndes County Jail for whatever reasons.

Captain J.D. Yeager of the Sheriffs Office said, “There is nothing suspicious about this death.” On 16 Feb 2006, concerning Inmate Esavious Wright death, the department said, “All we know at this point is that Mr. Wright died, the only thing suspicious about this death is that he's a 29 year-old male. Regardless of where people are at, whether they are at home, they are on the street, they are at a motel or in the jail, when it comes their time, and they are going to die. Its just something we can't prevent.”

    SUBJECT, Citizens Be ware!

The autopsy report of Esavious Wrights death in the Lowndes County Jail is still pending release to the public from 16 February 2006. Back in June 2004, it took twenty-four days just for the media to report the name of inmate John Henry Dejonghe death to the public.

Moreover, the cause of Dejonghe death and some other inmates have left citizens in shock and awe. Even though some deceased, inmates were American Veterans who served their country with honor and distinction.

After twelve or more known deaths in or surrounding the Lowndes County Jail. It seem that some city, county, state, elected official, district attorney, judge, Law Enforcement Officer, grand jury, coroner, Moultrie Crime Lab, GBI, FBI, U.S. Department of Justice, Georgia Sheriffs Association, South Georgia Medical Center, member of the Georgia Bar Association, Valdosta Ministerial Allowance, Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia Attorney General, State Representative, associated press, Governor, 60 minutes, 48 hours, dateline, Prime Time, MSNBC, C-Span, CBS, ABC, news magazines, civil rights organizations, republicans, democrats, news papers, Christians, Muslims, members of Judaism, or some other patriotic agency would have found the following deaths strange and worthy of investigation in the State of Georgia.

Willie McFarland, age 38, Willie Lee Gaye, age 39, died 23 October 1995, Willie James Williams, age 49, died 2 September 1998, Ronzie Sonny Graham, age 48, died 13 July 2000, Rosemary King, Age 40, died 20 July 2001, Richard William Oakley, age 27, died April 2002, Sandra J. Wallace, age 39, died 31 August 2002, Lisa Sanders, age 38, died 2003, John Henry Dejonghe, age 49, died 21 June 2004, Amaruy Quinones, age 34, died 2 September 2005, Esavious Wright, age 29, died, 16 February 2006, and NOW Bobby Stanford, age 55, died 23 March about 1:15 a.m. for whatever reason.

Moreover, inmates, their families, local civil rights organizations and concerned citizens have been crying out for justice, answers, and some valid investigative reporting for over 20 years to no avail. See http://www.geocities.com/altpptla/pTribunal/index.html

While our sons and daughters continue to fight on foreign Battlefields, being exposed to roadside bombs, depleted uranium, placed in harms way and dying so others can enjoy freedom etc.,. While American parents cannot receive even a courteous reply from their elected officials, concerning their love ones incarcerated in Jails and prisons in the State of Georgia.

Our leaders seem to be more concerned about spending hundreds of billions of our tax dollars in Iraq. While burying their head in the sand like the legend concerning the ostrich while inmate, after inmate perish in jail for whatever reason. Even though, inmates, family members, and concerned citizens have been ignored by practically every agency in the State of Georgia and beyond.

Therefore, who cares about American citizens in the 21st Century of our Republic? The question will continue to be. How many More must die for whatever reason before Georgia put a stop to this trend---but then again, who cares?

PS I am confident that in the end truth, right, exposure, and justice will ultimately win in the end---as always…. Because when truth comes, falsehood must vanish and falsehood is forever a vanishing thing in the domain of the just timekeeper!

cc: Many other concerned citizens, national lotlets, and agencies not included here... But who cares?
